COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Examining the advanced principles of equine nutrition, including digestion, metabolism, digestive anatomy, and feeding management. Students should be able to understand basic nutrition and feeding principles, as well as the anatomical and metabolic characteristics unique to the horse.
